Juraj Kojš continues his series on Cattleya violacea and its hybrids with a discussion of the hybrids made prior to the 20th century and Esteban (Steve) Gonzalez-Costa presents the second in a series of articles on recent outreach judging in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
