"Perfection - A Family Story" written by Rob Griesbach on the development of white phalaenopsis leads our August features. For many, white phalaenopsis represent the pinnacle of orchid breeding and how this came about is fascinating history. Stig Dalström and his Bhutanese collaborators continue their series on the orchids of the Kingdom of the Thunder Dragon with a lavishly illustrated article on the leafless orchid genus Chiloschista and, rounding out our features this month, Isler Chinchilla, Adam Karremans and Mario Blanco describe a new species of Malaxis to honor the late Dr. Robert Dressler.
